Why impetus? The things in this blog, the fun we have doing them together, and the way they are accomplished is what motivates us to do these things. The benifits are an added bonus.

Dave, Tamara, and Bill went for a 15 mile ride around Santa Clara and Southgate/Green Valley area. Picture taken at Mathis Park with the Slot in one background and Snowy Utah Hill in the other.
We are group that started as trail runners. Led by our un-elected, but well supported, leader Bill (aka Biligoat) we head out to enjoy the outdoors. We don't like to run on the hard pavement and beat our feet while dulling our mind. Getting off the beaten path and exploring while exercising is our game. We also ride bike, swim, hike, scramble, etc. Most have a run a marathon, done a triathlon, or both; the rest are training to do one (even if they don't know it yet).
